Rumination 3rd April 2022

So the series of long coding routines continues. I am absolutely burnt out trying to meet deadlines while also trying to document my code. I have been breaking my heart and pushing it to its limits trying to get this stuff to work, but turns out its my eyelids that force me to lose focus instead. I will probably have a full breakdown soon if this continues.

Alright this topic aside , I have observed a few topics in Computer Science that I feel might have serious potential as research topics here are a few :

1. High Performance Computing for Fluid Dynamics
2. Compression of Deep Learning Models
3. High Performance Networking of App Containers
4. Solving Cloud Service vendor lock-in through Azure Arc. And even more so a plus if Azure Arc is utilized for bringing together Kubernetes clusters.

For the 4th one , it kinda makes me wonder why every service does not have a feature for you to connect to other cloud service providers in a manner that Arc does. I think this is one step , I can probably applaud Microsoft in a huge way for. Ohh forgive me. Azure Arc basically allows you to integrate your On-Prem / On Cloud Kubernetes Clusters or any other service onto their platform even if they belong to competing services such as AWS or GCP.

I wonder if this will bring up a number of issues when it comes to interfacing with Kubernetes. Ohh well , I don’t really fully understand Arc myself, I will probably find out soon.

I had vowed to myself that I would resort to hard data alone for any and all decisions I make about my career, but astrology has always been a huge part of my life and I don’t think I will be able to avoid a complete consultation of it. I was born when Aquarius was rising in the east , about 17 degrees from the horizon at about 5:11 in the evening so if you know any astronomy, you could probably infer that I was born in September. I guess that’s all I will reveal about my time of birth. I have been running the Mahadasha of Mercury along with the Antardasha of Rahu, with it being placed in Gemini in the 6th house (not the 5th)if we consider Jagannath Hora’s Bhava Chalit calculations. Mercury being the 5th Lord placed in the 9th house in Virgo. Now of course any decent judgement should be made keeping the entire chart in mind , but if we consider solely this placement and time period , it would imply that I am expected to bring in a deep sense of routine and attention while focusing on my education. (Keeping in mind the rule that Rahu gives the result of its dispositor).

I am going to assume that the 8th house and the 12th house of the chart are solely responsible for deep research , because Rahu and Ketu are the sookshma karakas of these houses , and any researcher needs them very well placed in their chart. Seeing that I have my 12th lord (Saturn) placed in the 4th in Taurus and my 8th lord ( Mercury , also my Atmakaraka) placed in my 9th house, I am going to assume that the 4th and 9th house are going to be the most important houses of my research career. Well the 4th house probably can indicate resources and their storage, atleast that’s what the classics say. So I will go on a limb here and guess that it probably means databases, or since Rahu is linked to my 4th lord(Venus) and Rahu kind of represents unlimited greed , so it might mean Big Data , because the data stream never ends. And as has been abundantly clear that the 9th house is the house of divinity , or in the modern day , long distance communication. The 9th house is also a house we check for lawyers, so it might mean rules and the closest to this in Computer Science is probably the design of protocols. Since god is hailed as the protector of all people, we might be able to check the 9th house for Cyber Security as well. But I have a feeling that it probably should be linked to the 6th house through one of the 4 yogas for it to qualify for cyber security , because we see hidden enemies through the 6th house.

So in short Databases , Big Data , Networking , Cyber Security. Well , it didn’t really narrow it down much. Ohh well. I wish someone has investigated this subject more deeply. Although with someone’s 4th lord in the 9th , 5th lord in the 9th and their 8th lord in the 9th and their 9th lord in the 9th, they could probably conclude that the 9th house is the most important house in their chart for education. If you consider the houses of education to be the 4th , 5th 8th and the 9th.

Well of course , I probably should not ignore the transits, now Ketu for an Aquarius ascendant has recently transited their 9th house. Ohh btw just in case someone who isn’t me reads this, I am really only writing this for myself and so am not indulging myself in explaining what the terms above mean.

The classics kinda say that Ketu represents dogs , so if it wants to address you via an omen, it will do it through dogs (the scriptures say). Whatever that means. Turns out I saw a one legged man walking his dog with the help of his kid. Now the 9th house also shows stuff you learn. I probably must interpret this in some way. Children kind of represent the 5th house and it was his right leg that was missing and the 11th house represents the right or the dominant leg (well Aquarius to be more precise, but for the Kalpurush , they’re the same). The 11th house is something we see to know if your desires will be fulfilled in any sphere be it career or education , the fact that his right leg was missing probably meant that it won’t be easy for me to actually carry out my vision unless I give in to the will of the 5th house. My chart has its 11th lord Jupiter and its karaka both afflicted by the 12th lord Saturn. It probably was an indication of the weakness of my 11th house.

Maybe I shouldn’t enter the domain of the 11th house or even if I do try , I should keep the 5th house in the fore. Or it layman’s terms it probably means if I go for something along the lines of widespread distributed computing I probably should perfect Algorithms and Data Structures or Software Design. The 5th house is the house we see to understand if a person is capable of planning and creating frameworks. If we consider Algorithms and Data Structures to be fundamentally tools and instruments of planning software , it might make sense. The 11th house is the house we see how connected you are to the collective or the society. Maybe your ability to plan is somehow related to how connected you feel to society.
